Our Story

We are NOT a hand block printed  brand selling cushions, throws, curtains, or soft furnishings.

At Two Sisters Company we say: "Made better by hands, not machines". We are not preserving craft. Craft is preserving us.

The world spent 200 years industrializing beauty. We are spending our lives humanizing it again.

Two Sisters Company began with a simple feeling that Priyanka and Amita, the founders and sisters felt while setting up their newly weds homes.  Why can’t we find anything interesting and unique for our homes , while there is tremendous for our clothing!

When did we trade our love for crafted homes to fast fashion mass produced products where all homes look the same. Why have our homes lost character, soul and stories! We dint even realise and our country shifted from unique maximalism to beige uniform minimalism.

When did we start believing that faster meant better?

Once, luxury meant the touch of a craftsman. Today luxury is often measured by how efficiently a machine can copy itself.

Somewhere along the way, we traded stories for speed. Hands for factories. Soul for sale.

Two Sisters Company was born to remember what the world was slowly forgetting. the beauty India once gave the world. The embroidery that travelled across oceans. The weaves that fascinated Europe. The crafts that kings collected. The textiles that carried generations of knowledge in every thread.

The world recognized their value. We, who made it, are slowly forgetting it.

But, with a modern perspective. We are the bridge between modern minimalism and classic old maximalism. Incorporating old classic designs with new age geometry and pallete.

We work exclusively with natural fibers and human hands. Not because we reject progress. But because we believe some things should never be automated.

A machine can make a product. Only a human can create character.

Every piece we create carries the wisdom of old-world craftsmanship reimagined for modern Indian homes.

For homes that want warmth over perfection. Story over trends. Soul over speed.

We are sailing against the current. While the world replaces human hands with machines, we are returning machines to their rightful place—as tools that support human hands, not replace them.

This is not nostalgia. This is the future we choose. One thread at a time. When you bring a Two Sisters piece into your home, you are not buying decor. You are becoming the reason a craft survives another generation. And perhaps that is the most beautiful thing a home can hold.
